For my thesis year in the Illustration Practice Program at MICA, I created an original young adult novel, titled The Tale Teller’s Tongue. This story follows seven protagonists as they navigate their world after a cataclysmic event sends their once peaceful planet into chaos.

Join a Scholar trying to predict the unpredictable, a Botanist desperate to save a dying plant, an Inventor grappling with a technological crisis, Twin Astrophysicists who make conflicting predictions, and a Seeker, who always seems to find what she isn’t looking for. The Tale Teller’s Tongue is a story about community, reclamation, and hope.
